About the Author

STEPHEN METELSKY, M.A., is a contributing writer at The Hamilton Spectator, Metroland Media, Hamilton City magazine and Blue Line magazine. His first book Undercover received rave reviews in the media, including on CH Morning Live (CHCH), Global News Radio and The Toronto Sun: “Metelsky has written a chilling new book that chronicles some of the most harrowing police undercover operations in Canadian and U.S. history.” He teaches criminal psychology, criminology and organized crime at Mohawk College, the University of Guelph-Humber, Seneca College and Queens University. He worked over 20 years as an investigator and undercover operative. His second book True Crime Stories from a Canadian Columnist was released in 2023. Stephen is regularly contacted for crime consultation by media outlets in Canada and the U.S. and recently appeared on an episode of Global TVs “Crime Beat.”
